We are looking for volunteers

Central Coast Culinary is looking for VOLUNTEERS (the backbone of all cooking schools).
As a volunteer you will help with adult cooking classes that are held once sometimes twice per week in the evening typically from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.  We normally arrive about one hour prior to class to prep all recipes so that we may cook them during class and  occasionally we make some before class.

When you start as a volunteer at CCC, you will work with a "seasoned"  volunteer so that you can learn where everything is, how we put a class together, and how it flows. You will be doing many things- setting up ice water, chopping, slicing, pouring wine, passing what we cook. And you are present during the class, sampling the food, a few dishes and getting the recipes.

My volunteer staff consists of working people, retirees, students, people who want to learn to cook, people who love to cook and people that just want to have a great time.  It is very social, a lot of fun and you have an opportunity to learn quite a bit about nutrition, cooking, food shopping and selection and just about everything you ever wanted to know about what we put in our mouths.

I have been in business for more than 21 years, and if you have never taken a class, but always wanted too now is the time to join our volunteer staff.   I promise you will have a lot of fun, meet some interesting characters and take home some delicious morsels.

All we ask of you is to volunteer at least 2 to 3 times per month and wear a white collared shirt and black pants and comfy shoes. We notify volunteers every Sunday of upcoming classes and you can say yes or no.  That's it.

So if you want to join our staff, please let me know.
Warmly, Debbie Duggan

And not to brag but it must be a good time, great experience for all involved because it wouldn't have lasted almost 20 years!
