Spring Greetings to you!

I am ecstatic to be announcing our trip to Italy in November 2026 visiting the incredible region of Emilia Romagna which produces so many of the beloved artisan foods we continue to enjoy.

Pamela has once again put together an incredible food, wine and cultural adventure through the different cities of this very important region. These trips are unique as they feature artisanal vendor visits, cooking lessons, winery visits, and historical cultural visits that you would never find or experience on your own.

Trust me when I say these are trips of a lifetime.

The trip begins November 3 through the 8th.  We normally leave 4 days before she picks us up in a designated area so that we have the opportunity to visit another nearby country or surrounding cities with day trips.  We as a group decide where we would like to go before.  And that has not been decided yet.  Since we are in Europe, we usually try to make the most of it as long as it is not wildly expensive.

I am inviting those of you who have taken my classes to consider joining me for this trip.  I am taking 12 and have several reservations from my volunteers already.  Should you be interested please see the attached file.

The price is in Euro’s and airfare is not included.  We do try and fly together if possible and usually fly out of SLO and directly to Italy.  This year it is possible to fly from LA to Bologna with just with one stop in Germany.  But that is to be decided by whoever decides to go.

You must be able to do some walking, browsing, play well with others, have a sense of humor and be flexible.  Do remember all high-end incredible accommodations, wine, snack, fabulous meals, transportation, and entrance fees are included in your trip price.  There are 2 meals that are not included, but I always ask for that because the meals are usually enormous and you will welcome an opportunity to skip a meal or find something small like a glass of wine and a sandwich!  Italy has no accommodations for handicapped travelers as that is how it is in most of Europe.  But if you love Italian food, artisanal cheeses, cured meats, balsamic, olive oil, wines, pottery, history, and unique once in a lifetime experiences - this is it!

All pricing is created by Pamela and Katherine once the trip is put together, tentative reservations for hotels, restaurants, cooking classes, visitation sites, etc. and then sent to me with details of the tour.   You will be busy, but will have a bit of time to relax, I promise even if it is having a glass of wine or prosecco on the terrace of the hotel.
